Wii to surround sound

Hi everyone,
I had my home theater professionally set up, because I no nothing about this.
What I want to do, Is hook-up the Wii system so the sound will come out of my surround sound,as it does with my TV and DVD.
The way it is now I need to go to the TV to put speakers on for the sound. I don't like not having surround sound for the Wii.
Please tell me in simple terms how to do this. If you can help me, I will be so grateful!

Panasonic Plasma 58"
Sony blu-ray dvd
V20 lifestyle Bose 5.1

If read correctly, you can only get the sound through the Wii if TV turned on. I know how to help, but it would be difficult through text.

It might be difficult to explain, especially if you have no understanding of how things are hooked up.

Most likely what you need to do is connect you Wii cables to your Bose. You will then need to select that channel on you Bose to view the Wii on your TV and hear it over the surround sound.

I hope this helps, but you might need someone to physically show you.
