WiiU Virtual Console Announced. Gameply on Gamepad confirmed.

We are moving ahead with development of Virtual Console for Wii U, and we plan to make it so you can play it on the Wii U GamePad alone.

I wonder when this will be released? Maybe I'll get Wind Waker on this thing, playing it on the gamepad would be fun.

I have to say i'm looking forward to hearing about this. I'm actually surprised by how much resides in the Wii emulator.

I'm looking forward to being able to transfer my VC games to the Wii U menu, and to be able to get thousand year door.

I still have ye olde Wii from '06 t' use as my Gamecube [STRIKE]emulator[/STRIKE]. Gotta play me some Baten Kaitos again eventually.

Not that I wouldn't cry 'Karply tears of joy if VC would sell Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

Good, i welcome this.
The account system most likely is going to deter people from investing in alot of VC titles though.
