Your Shape?

Yeah, I will buy it for the camera only...

I hope Ubisoft will use this device in future hardcore games for Wii, increasing the emotional inmersion along the motion controls.

It could be a ripoff. But it looks good for exercise. Cuz you don't hold a remote with normal exercise. Its not natural. So this looks kinda cool. Why buy just for the camera. If ubisoft or who so ever was going to use a camera then they would have their own. I wouldn't be surprised if it works only for this game.

Well, my friend there are some reasons, when you buy a piece of hardware like for example the Wiifit balance board you expect use the device for many games and not only for one game. If not what is the deal?
This camera has an enormous potential, this allows the Wii owners with more inmersive gameplay combining it along the Wiimote like the Sony's Wand new motion control for the ps3 or using it like the xbox360's natal, this allow us to stay on par with the motion controls of these consoles. And Nintendo can use this to counter the reactions when these motion controls appear the next year.
Imagine for example if Ubisoft launch Assasins Creed 2 for Wii the next year and include support for motion+ like they did in Red Steel 2 to control Altair's movements and use the camera to track the dead zone and reticle with your head movements( the game camera adjust is automatic). This result in an amazing game inmersion, and there are much more innovative ways to use the camera in new Wii games.

That's different. Balance board is proprietary. There is only 1 board. There wil never be multiple boards.

This may be a crappy camera. Like there is 1mp, 2mp, all the way up to 50 I believe. So this might not be a good camera. If anyone else makes a game with camera they might make their own or use a better camera next time.

Unless its an official nintendo camera I don't think its good to buy just for the camera. Cuz new games might require more frame rates or better resolution than this crappy camera can handle.

Or better yet they should let you buy the game only and let you use your own usb camera. That would save 30 dollars right there and they would sell way more.

But I'm going to try this anyway and see.

Costco is the best. As long as you don't do it too often you can return even the games. Even if it is opened and you've played with it. WOW... She said if your not happy why keep it. Cuz gamestop once the seal is broken and wrapper is off no refubnds, only used games. Costco said today even if it is opened they take it back.

So I just got this game today. I will give it a try and see.

Now that you've been using it a while, what do you think? I like the title itself and also think that the camera works very well for it. I've only been using it about a week, but the title is fun and has some great workouts so far. I like the web support too, did you check out the web site?
