Atlus U.S.A has today released a game that feels like a bit of a throwback to the good old days of mega sports compilations with 101-In-1 Sports Megamix, which incredibly manages to cram 101 sports-themed mini games onto just one Wii disc, and all for the budget price of $19.99, which averages out at less than 20 cents per game. Players get to unlock new games by successfully completing challenges in their favourite sports and earning the required number of points, either alone or with up to three other people. Aside from the regular popular sports, such as basketball, boxing, baseball, tennis, soccer and hockey, you’ll also be able to experience some rather more unusual pastimes, such as Psychic Bowling, Sumo Suit Showdown, Daring Darts, Execution Dodgeball, Paintball Battleground, Muddy Tug O’ War and Fancy Fencing, to name but a few!

The mini-games might look simple to play on the surface, but they’re hard to master, keeping players engrossed in competing head-to-head with friends, scoring goals, earning medals, winning races and beating high scores. You can’t fault it for value for money, and it certainly looks like a lot of fun from the trailer, so well worth checking out.
