From what I remember since Link was actually a Hyrulian Navi probably moved on to be a guide for another Kokiri.

And I can't think of anyone other than Navi about your question on Majoras Mask - link didn't exactly have alot of friends aside from Navi and that Kokiri girl.. name escapes me..
