Fantastic news today from Koch Media for all fans of the musicals of Andrew Lloyd Webber, and indeed for the fans of musicals in general, with the announcement from Koch Media all about a brand new game that it’s bringing to the Wii that revolves around the great man’s musicals. Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals: Sing & Dance, published by Tubby Games, is set to feature 32 classic hits from an incredible career spanning 45 years, and will be released this September on the Wii. In the game, fans of musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Cats, and Jesus Christ Superstar, can put themselves centre stage in the midst of all that fantastic music. In-game performances of songs such as Don’t Cry for Me Argentina and The Phantom of the Opera will feature award-winning and much-loved recording artists that have long been associated with Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s work, such as Elaine Paige, Michael Crawford, Boyzone, Donny Osmond, David Essex and Sarah Brightman, and you, yes you, as the player gets to tread the boards as a musical superstar.

Players will get the chance to take on Dance, Sing or Career modes to perform the lead role as they dance and sing their way to musical fame and fortune, performing alongside up to three friends and family in multiplayer mode, or taking the solo route to superstardom.

“This is a fabulous signing for us,“ said Paul Nicholls, Sales & Marketing Director at Koch Media, “Andrew Lloyd Webber and his creations are a British institution that have been enjoyed by generations across the world. The chance to bring this product to market for the Nintendo Wii is both an honour and hugely exciting.”
