Might have a defective wii. The only problem I've had was finding the mac address on the blasted thing. EB games told me it was in the manual, read the manual in both languages I can read, no mac address. Come to find out it's in the console options or something. But then again I've been through two consoles in my first week. But then again, the first one wasn't my fault, and I got this one for half price because I'm just that good.
