a tip though: when aiming the ball, and then throwing it down the lane, don't twist your wrist, it will help alot.

go to excersises (dumbell picture)... then choose Power Throw
(middle bowling picture). It's not true bowling, but maybe they'll have fun tossing at 91 pins... it will keep their score histories at 4 people can play.
