channels & connection

i search the site and i couldn't find the answers to a couple questions that popped into my head today...

1.) Is there going to be an unlimited amount of channels you can have on the Wii interface? for some reason the number 48 stands out to me as the limit of channels...

2.) With the Wiiconnect24 feature is it possible that if reviews of game controls (maybe a game like Red Steel) are poor...could UbiSoft develop and send an updated control to make that part of the game better?

I just can't see that happening, but I guess that's a possibility. I really doubt it though.

and with an SD card you can up the amount of channels... so I read on IGN
