Connect a Router to a Switch? HELP!

Hi!

Could I buy a wireless router and connect it to my existing WIRED network switch, then configure the wireless router to use my existing NAT shared internet connection by specifying a gateway and dns server? What I want is keeping my current internet sharing solution and just add the wireless router as any other device on my network switch. Do you follow? Would this work?

You could do that. Just dont use the WAN port on the Wireless router, and connect the Wireless router from its wired LAN port, and make sure that you statically assign an IP within the LAN subnet, and make the WIred router's LAN IP be the wireless routers Default Gateway.

Or you can find a wireless switch and go that way
