Occasionally a game comes along that seems a little crazy, and “Enjoy Your Massage!”, announced today by Microforum for release on WiiWare in North America on August 9th, is one such game! Enjoy Your Massage! is a massage simulator puzzle game, in which the player is hired as an apprentice masseur at Giselle’s beauty farm, where they learn relaxing massage combinations in order to use them on the stressed-out customers. Get the massage wrong and your client will get angry, and eventually you’ll lose your job! Prove to be an expert masseuse, though, and you’ll climb the er, massage ladder, or whatever they call it, with the ultimate aim of running the entire beauty farm.

Now here’s the science bit! Enjoy Your Massage! has apparently been created in cooperation with a team of psychologists, with a special mix of slow breath-rhythmical animations and harmonic sounds relaxing the player. The game has actually been rated E10+ with “Mild Suggestive Themes” by the ESRB. Intriguing!
