Epic Mickey

This game is being developed by Warren Specter's Junction Point Studios.

Rumors on this game:

-It'll be based around a story where Disney's lesser, forgotten characters rise up against Mickey, which would explain the emphasis on hot military action seen in the game's concept art.

-Tony Paullman, concept designer of the game, not a programmer or level artist, states that the game will be a Wii exclusive.

In this months issue of Game Informer (September 2009 issue) it was teased that next months issue will reveal information in the long-rumored "Epic Mickey".

The teaser comes in the form of the above two-page spread on pages 40 and 41 of this months issue of Game Informer.

That fact that the Game Informer team has taken so much interest in the game gets me excited, considering they've probably seen/played some stuff we've not. May be the first Wii game I've bought in over a year and a half.

Finally, someone that shows great interest in this game.

Since I saw some of the concept art for the game I've been really excited about it and waiting for new, official information. I'm really hyped for this game. Hope it turns out to be amazing.

Well, now I have to pick up a copy of Game Informer.

Looks awesome... but has anyone else seen the Goofy-Zombie mech (thing) in the concept art? What on Earth is Disney thinking? I feel like drawing the line at Kingdom Hearts, which is awesome... but this...
This is weird. Growing up with Disney at the height of their animation era (the first movie I saw in theaters was the Lion King, the second was Toy Story), this seems like a betrayal of my roots just as much as it is a homage to them. Still, I'm absurdly excited to see if they can pull it off. Crossing my fingers for now.

Has anyone else seen the information leak?
I take back everything I said previously. This game is going to rock...
...And the main villain is Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculously cool that Disney is bringing this guy back?
