I went to Toy's R Us 3 hours before opening. But giving the now high demand for the system you may want to try 4 hours just to be on the safe side.

I went to Wal-Mart 2 days after launch around noon. So you could say I was about 52 hours late, that wasn't a problem though. It varies so greatly I wouldn't take anyones advice on this.

I went to walmart 14 hours before they were selling out the wiis and I was 5th in line, they had 19 wiis at the launch.

I woke up at 6:00AM and there were 6 people there.....although Walmart had like 30 units there!
I say you should wake up at 5:00AM!
