is it good to buy a sd card to put ur current files that are saved on ur wii? just in case ur wii begins to have any mishaps? And are the files saved on ur wii system transferable to a sd card?

And yes, the save files can be transferred. However, you don't really need Virtual Console games as if your Wii did go wrong, you wouldn't be able to transfer them back and you would have to contact Nintendo to get them back.
