Mario Kart Wii vs Wipeout HD motion steering

I'm a PS3Wii owner and I love the motion steering of the Wiimote (Excite Truck and Mario Kart). I would like to know if anyone else here prefers the motion steering and have played the Wipeout HD or any other racing games on the PS3 w/ sixaxis steering and their opinions on it. Thanx!
