Capcom has released Monster Hunter Tri (aka. Monster Hunter 3) in Japan, but the North American release will be delayed until summer 2010 most likely.

I can't wait for this game to come out! It's a fabulous RPG!

dude, in Japan the Monster Hunter series is bigger than Warcraft.

Monster Hunter Tri is supposed to be like World of Warcraft, because it takes place on Capcom's own hosted servers and puts high emphasis on online co-operative play. You basically get together with fellow online gamers and form hunting parties to go out and take on these huge monsters - and some of these beasts are huge. There's no way you can take on the really big-ass ones alone, so you've got to work together with others to fight them.

When you kill monsters, you can harvest stuff from them, like trophies and stuff, and you can trade these materials back in the village market. This can get you money and goods for more weapons, equipment, etc. The monster hunting lodge acts like a lobby, where monster hunters can chat and socialize when they're not going out on quests.

The game's graphics are awesome - really fabulous for a Wii game. The game provides a very rich story universe like Lord of the Rings, for people to get involved in. MH3 has already been released in Japan, but it will likely be out internationally in Q2 of 2010.

i know nothing of these games would it be wise to buy part 3?

Its a bit like Phantasy star online

Its also a bit of a phenomenon in Japan
(And has been in a few episodes of Gintama)
