My wiimote isn't working properly

I tried to play dragonball z tenkaichi 3 today and and I couldn't do any moves. My wiimote didn't seem to be picking up the movements. The nunchuck was cause i could still dash. So I put in Wii Sports and same problem it wasn't picking up my movements in the tennis game. Also in the baseball game my Mii just kept swinging the bat over and over again without me doing anything.

I have tried everything I can think of. I've resynched my wiimote changed the batteries and checked all the settings. Anyone else had this problem and know of a way to fix it or is my wiimote just broke. I've only had my Wii for about a week and this happens some luck I guess.

try hitting it against your palm, thats what nintendo tell you to do. Its something to do with the motion sensor being jammed. Dont do it too hard tho or you may break it even more, just enough to unjam the motion sensor

this has happened to me too.....i had to send it away to get fixed

Thanks for the advice guys I gave my wiimote a couple decent slaps to my hand
and it is now working great again.
