To celebrate the official release of FlatOut Wii in North America this week, Team6 has released a trailer showing off the spectacular StuntMan mode. This mode, as you can see from the video, carries on the tradition of the Stuntman mode that was one of the best things about the classic FlatOut games, where you got to crash through your windshield and fly through the air in a bid to earn as many points as possible. The all-new Wii version of FlatOut features two StuntMan modes, Classic and Nightmare. Classic mode is, as you might expect, very similar in style to that of the old games, whereas Nightmare mode adds an altogether darker twist, with the stunts being much harder and more challenging than the original Classic stunts.

Another new feature of FlatOut Wii’s StuntMan mode is the possibility of performing stunts with a friend in two-player mode. Both players can now eject their own drivers and try to get the highest score possible, and both players now get to control the car, meaning that if player 1 tries to steer to the left, and player 2 goes to the right, for example, it can make for some interesting driving! *Once the first player ejects, the screen goes into split-screen mode and from that point each player gets full control of their own driver.

FlatOut Wii is out now in North America.
