Destructoid is reporting today that the Nintendo Wii game No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle has finally been given an official European release date of May 21st.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle continues the story of anti-hero Travis Touchdown, a Japanese anime Otaku and assassin who is obsessed with pro-wrestling. In order to fight his way back to the top of the United Assassins Association, Travis must fight 50 other equally ruthless assassins.

In the game, players get to wield six types of beam katana, experience five special Dark Force moves, including the outrageous Tiger metamorphosis, earn cash by undertaking classic 2D job missions, and grapple their opponents up close and personal with 13 devastating wrestling moves.

A new navigation interface that has been introduced since the first game ensures that you can jump directly into the action and feel the speed of riding your bike in uniquely designed missions. It all sounds and looks pretty sweet. A lot of people have been waiting a long time for this European release, but judging by the rave American reviews so far, it’ll be more than worth it.
