Online Problems

I have DSL Wi-fi router at home and my wii CAN pick up our signal, however when I test my connection an error appears and i can't connect online. Now do I need to buy a Nintendo USB adapter or a Lan adapter to connect online?
Or just try a new approach.

Please tell me what I need to do.

Get to basics with the router. Turn off any security/encryption on it, and see if you can connect then, if so, start turning stuff back on and see which item is causing it to fail.

Make sure the router has DHCP enabled, and mac address filtering turned off

yeah my router won't pick myne up too

what do i do ? how do u fiddle with security and encryption ? help !!!!!....
