problem transfering miis I've edited back to my wii

I used miieditor.com, a USB bluetooth adapter, and the mii mega mall app to transfer and edit my miis so that I could give them gold pants. It seems, however, that once I've transfered my edited miis back onto my wiimote, they don't show up in their respective slots on my wii. I know it's not a transfer problem because if I download miis that other peopel have made, they will transfer just fine so long as I don't edit them. what can I do to successfully transfer my miis, give them gold pants, and successfully get them back onto my wii?

Make sure Mingle is turned off for the gold/special mii's, the Mii will not show up on the Wii Remote when you try to move it to the Wii console.

Keep in mind that the Wii console will only move special mii's, it won't copy them. So if you plan to pass them out to friends then it's best you create a half dozen or so with different mii ID's because once you send them your console will delete them.
