i could connect to the wii shop does that mean i can play games online? if not what do i need? is online gaming for wii here yet? what games can u play online?

Looks like your ready to go. Mario Strikers charged and Pokemon Battle Revolution are the only games online so far; atleast in the US. Madden '08 comes out soon. Welcome to the forum!

Your all set. Mario Strikers is the first Wii game online (I don't count PBR as a game). Madden NFL 08 come out on the 14th of August thats also online. There are quite a few more online titles coming, which is good news
