remote lights dim

The lights on my second remote are very dim, almost invisible, the batteries are new and it works fine, any ideas would be gr8

are they alkaline batteries? put these batts in conroller 1 to see how controller 1 responds.

if you hit the HOME button... what is the battery level showing on the 2nd remote?
