I randomly one day had this problem with my Wii. My post explaining the problem is here:

To put it in a nutshell, ALL controllers except Wii Remotes for the Wii games work and there is no answer that has fixed the problem so far. Not even the great creator Nintendo over the phone could not solve the problem. If you think you have a solution, check the post I posted earlier before you post. So I have to send in my Wii to Nintendo. Thankfully it's under warranty and I don't have to pay for anything, not even shipping. If anyone else has this problem, they should be redirected to this thread. Just call Nintendo on the back of your Wii Console. I hope this doesn't happen to the entire Wii community.
