    There are better handhelds but it depends what you want in a hand held

    a friend of mine has a solar charger for his gps. but then again the guy goes on 4 month canoe trips and eats what he hunts/catches.

    Id say get a GP2X (or is it X2) it dose every thing but its not rechageable by the power of the sun

    Damn, the SD card sticks out a bit much, or does it push in? Inventive idea but I like to slowly kill the earth and various waste-dumps with non-recyclable matter.
