For anyone living in the UK, Gametart.com have today issued a press release that as of yesterday UK Wii owners will be able to rent any current Wii title from their website.

To celebrate this Gametart are offering two complete weeks of free Wii games with apparently "no catches, no tie-ins".

To claim the free trial just type “WII” into the promo code box on the site, and enter a few details.

result!!

this is nice read for me, so many people on the forums tell others to 'go rent it' to get an opinion, now i can do the same...

now i just need to decide which ones to have a look at :arf:

http://boomerangrentals.co.uk/ have got a 3 week free trial going on - I just got my first game today - Sonic. (I am glad I didn't buy it.)

I was shopping around the different UK rental places this last week and just so you don't think I am just playing favourites here. All of the ones below ALSO have wii games in stock:

http://www.gamesfrenzy.co.uk/
http://www.gamesmonster.co.uk/
http://www.swapgame.com/

Also I don't believe Boomerang is the best...I am properly going to go to another one which offers DS games in the summer when I buy a DS.

just out of interest, are they all subscription based?

as i was thinking that i wouldnt want to pay an ongoing subscription for only occaisionally getting games, if i could go somewhere like blockbuster and pay per rental (as i dont get alot of time to play these days....)

I hope for you that they offer better services than "gameacces.ca" in Canada. I've been totally frustrated with those services. They force you to put at least 10 titles on your rental list and they don't respect the priority list. Since there is not even 10 titles that I wat for the Wii, I put Gamecube titles on my list and it's a real piece of ****! So I went out to buy Zelda (Totally worth it). Be aware of those rental site.....

boomerang games does this...but it is minimum 5 recommended 10.

I haven't signed up for the other services so I don't know what they are like...maybe some people can post if they have.

Can anyone vouch for the credibility of Gametart?

I'd like to know before i send them credit card info...

Got my first game today. Excite truck, would of preferred Red Steel, but its not too bad. Considering it's free.
