US Wii vs. UK Wii

I currently live in the US and have a Wii. In the next couple of months I will be relocating to the UK for about 12 months. I want to take my Wii with me, but will a US Wii work in the UK?? I know i will need a new power adapter - but is that all?? Any ideas?

im not sure about internet and new uk games but everything else should be fine.

um, i think the wii's are region locked so if you get a game from there and try to play it on your wii from here, it wont work.

No it wont. Else I would have been importing games from the us all the time

Anyway: Internet not working? How do you figure that?

It should be fine

Like everyone said: Power and more importantly TV cables! We use a different system here so you will need some kind of ntsc to pal converter
