Do I need a moded Wii to play the retro games? I am worried about the moded chips and other stuffs. Is there any other way can I play burned games on the internet?

I'll answer one of your questions. If by retro games you are talking about the VC games you buy with wii points, you need nothing. They download straight to your wii and you play them that way. And the rest of the stuff we dont talk about here.
