Whoa!... Facility annex!

I was playing golden tonight. For probably the hundredth time... and along the back straightaway in the facility was a new room with chemical tanks, etc.

Why is this the first time I've seen it. Is it new? Is it only on certain modes?

I've just started playing Golden Gun, and I never used to like the facility - but this was a fun surprise.

Multiplayer games should do that far more often. An entire map isn't always suited to every game mode it's played in; Red Dead Redemption takes this philosophy to heart by changing every map in minor or major details for each different mode it's in, if it's used in multiple game modes. And also cuts off certain areas that might clash with the objective, i.e. an utterly broken camping spot in a kill-score based mode.

This is correct. That "annex" the OP is writing about is also there in black box mode.
