Wii Demo Channel - PR says "Hell yeah!" to German Gaming Magazine

According to a German Wii blog I surf around regulary, wiiarefree.com , a PR of Nintendo of Europe has talked to the German gaming magazine "Games Aktuell".

He confirmed the rumor about a highly anticipated Wii Demo Channel and said that the demos could either be downloaded to the flash memory of the Wii or a SD card. Concerning a Release date, he only said "soon".

I googled abit the last few hours. It seems that this rumor is very old. How ever, it keeps popping up on many News sites over and over again, like above, just a few day ago.

lol now way we're getting this this soon, im running out of memory with VC alone and my wii is getting fairly slow, how on earth are playable or even non playable demos ever going to fit? and as for SD use, thats just a pain in the ass till they let us use 8gig+

Thats just beta test. Demo channel probably will be like demo's that you can download

Me neither. If they are going to make us pay I want a deduction on my full game. Else I will pay extra for the full game.
