Wiimote rattling

My wiimote has had several hard hits, but usually its been fine.
This time however I think I may have hit it to hard. Basically I can here this
rattling whenever i shake the wiimote. The wiimote itself still works but a piece or something is loose. It is very distracting while playing. Any suggestions?

someone else has had this issue... a lot of the replys simply said if the remote works OK then they would leave it rattle... :yesnod:

I have decided to buy a three-wing screwdriver to open the wiimote

mine rattles too, im not worried cause it works fine, but when i take it apart to install my new case on my wiimote im gonna se what that rattling is, but im still waiting to find my new case in my mailbox....

Heh, it might just be your power button rattling. Press your thumb over it and rattle. If there is silence, you found the culprit. :yesnod:
