Wont let me check "New Posts"

I hit the log out button (top right corner) and now it wont let me check new posts when i logged back in. Also all threads have a grey wiichat logo beside them opposed to the red one. what gives?

EDIT: Nevermind, i'm the first person on the new posts list so it must've restarted.

Once you log out there's no way to tell what posts you havent viewed since your last visit.

My advice would be to stay logged in if you can, then everytime you revisit the site the new posts feature will work for you
