Sure the 360 is already pissing me off, every page on the dashboard except the settings menu has advertisements on them. Can't copy videos and have to burn my music to a disc in order to copy them. You have to pay for nearly everything. >;C
Only console to be as pricey at launch is Playstation (the first one)

BTW, I also hate the adds on the xbox dashboard. It makes the console look cheap. And just think of all the pop up spam adds the xbox one's dashboard will be full of. I mean there will be adds popping up in a middle of a game...

If I remember rightly N64 was about £250 for a few weeks then went down to £150

Did you know that xbox one will automatically download additional game content for your games???
(unless you are clever enough to find the carefully hidden option on the dashboard that allows you to switch automatic downloads off)
So, your console will be scanning the net all the time for game updates and add ons, and will donwload them automatically for you. And the servers will then charge you for them. You will be getting uncomfortably huge phone bills like all the time, untill you finally realise that the culprit for those bills is your new xbox one!

A PSO players phone bill was a shocking site
They will not download pay for things without getting your confirmation, its kinda the law
Xbox one will be using what we in the business call tailored advertising.
It works as follows:
Dedicated xbox servers will have access to your console's memory banks.
-from there, the server will see what kind of games you like, and what kind of movies you have been watching on your xbox one.
So, if you have been playing a lot of shooters, and watching action movies, you will be getting adds according to your tastes, tailored to you, like this:
-try this halo 9 demo! Watch the latests TErminator 6 trailer! Download free beta of Half Life 7! are the kind of adds you would then be receiving.
Ingenious thing is that this way you will only get adds that you would actually be interested in!
And the best thing will be this:
-today, if you want to find latest platformer demos, you have to search for them on the net, and then download them yourself. This takes time.
