Well career mode anyways. Still have some reward cards to unlock, and some challenge series.

Was an awesome career mode, awesome game in general.

LOL.

I enjoyed NFS Underground on Gamecube a lot, I really like doing customizations to cars to make them faster and what not. does NFS:Carbon have this? If they do, I'll be getting it. Plus is it something that would work with this Steering wheel thing I've been hearing about?

I can't wait to start my career in that game. I got it last Saturday, but I've only played a few quick races, nothing career-wize. Once I beat Zelda, or need a break from it, I might start, but I haven't been able to find much time to play.

how did you win the drift races i cant do drift to save my life with the wii remote and when i sit there and try for an hour straight i cant drive in the normal races lol cause the damn drifting messes me up so much

Quick review? Especially how the cars handle/control. Is it just 2 for gas & 1 for brake?

I haven't been able to find a review.

I agree, I haven't heard much about NFS on this forum and player opinions of it. Would you say it has a high replay value? I like to get games that I'll actually play more than once.

Hi all,

NFS Carbon is reviewed in this months Nintendo Official Magazine - it didn't do well, they gave it 59%. I'm disappointed by this as it was one I was going for.

Essentially they are saying that had you the option of using the C and Z buttons to brake and accelerate then everything would be fine, as you could use the option of the analogue stick to steer. The fact is that if you use the stick to steer then you are left with tilting the remote back and forth to brake and accelerate which (according to the reviewer) feels that you have no real control over your speed - ironic considering the game's title!

Read the review for yourselves:

I got that issue ;) but I'm still gonna get it :) 'cause people have been recommending it and Chandra of ONM even said something about it being good if your a NFS fan, which is me :) so I'm getting it

Yeah, I can read that alright!

You have a photo editing program? It might be a good time to use it than, turn up the contrast.

!) I work as a network administrator, so I am usually free, just on call, and do a lot of remote access from home. And then I take some night classes at a local college for Network Defenses and other new classes that weren't apart of my major.

2) I tried to avoid drifting entirely until later in the game. It is really pretty easy once you figure out how it works. Pretty much all you need to do is go as fast as you can. So if you get a really really fast car, then you are going to be racking up loads of points around corners whether you do them cleanly or not, just be going fast.

3) And as far as a review goes, I didn't really see it to be necessary because there was some other thread here where we discussed such stuff. But to comment on the controls; I thought they were awesome. In the very beginning car and in some of the vehicles, it feels like the controls are terrible. But you have to keep in mind that this is a car game based on upgrading parts. So the cars that are difficult to control, just have crappy parts. When you start upgrading tires/suspension and such they become very easy to control with the wiimote. Just remember to let off the gas when you go around any sharp corners, and use the brake when going around U corners. Other than that, it was a lot fun playing any racing game I have ever played before, and I give that credit 100% to nintendo for the controls.

And to comment on that review about accelerating and breaking with the wiimote. I never used those controls, so I can't really comment on them. I loved using the wiimote to steer, so I don't think I would even considering switching the controls to use the analog to steer.
