Classic Anime Hall Of Fame

Anime shows I recommend to be on there:

Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball Z
Lupin III
Ronin Warriors
Azumanga Daioh
Cromartie High
Ergo Proxy
Princess Mononoke
My Neighbor Totoro
Nausicaä: of the Valley of the Wind
AKIRA
Howl's Moving Castle
Gatchaman (G-Force)

And if you're suggesting Anime shows online, you can watch a large number of Anime Fan-Subs over at DivX | Stage 6.com

Sailor Moon was pretty cool, though it was the only thing good on TV at the time, and early in the morning too. But I still find myself watching some episodes of it from time to time, but I'm more into Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z.

Ever herd of a instant classic
But Death note isnt due to the end

Ronin warriors brings back some memories....same as for sailor moon....always after the "Bananas in Pajamas" show

i was jst wondering what is it about anime that makes so many people like it?

Great question.

o idk, the fact that it sales 3 billion dollars worth of anime/manga every year might have to do with it,

This isn't an answer though - this is the RESULT of having a reasonably sized fanbase. :)

I like the darker scifi/fantasy/noir genre and some of the cyberpunk titles.

Off the top of my head some of my favorite movies:

Wicked City
Akira
Ghost in the Shell
Ninja Scroll
Princess Mononoke
Vampire Hunter D

Haven't followed many of the series though I dig on Gatchaman (the non-hacked up orignals) and picked up a few Cowboy Bebop and Neon Genesis.
