Soul Calibur isn't a console exclusive game, though, so it doesn't surprise me they would have a character from the series. Even though I said it was highly unlikely Connor or any AC character would make it to SSB doesn't mean I meant it was impossible. I know Snake and Sonic made it to SSBB and neither are owned by Nintendo, so who knows, Maybe we will see an AC character.

Connor would have t' break the character popularity charts, which I doubt since everyone who's a fanboy of AC tends t' get all girly-eyed for Ezio... And there's obviously no way Ezio would find his way in since he's already made a cameo and is an older AC character.

Personally my favorite Assassin is Altair.
