Not a huge deal to me, since I don't watch much TV, and when I do it's usually Basketball or news of some kind. Although the absence of Stewart and Colbert was pretty bad for a while there :yesnod:

Unfortunately, it'll only be 8 episodes because of the writer's strike instead of the planned 16

Personally I'm in support of the WGA. Although I hope that specific shows like House, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica and some others, are able to come back.

Although there are rumblings of smaller networks are starting to do deals...

Could the strike be over soon?

Ah, British TV is awful nowadays, I pretty much only watch American stuff. So yeah, I'm upset about the writer's strike, but I guess it's necessary.

As long as House and Prison Break make a return for a new season I should be fine. Last night, Prison Break returned, which now gives me something to watch. Although, a new series called Journeyman has been cancelled.
