DS download play

hi everyone
i have a DS & a DSi & only 1 copy of mario kart ds so i set it to download matio kart from the DS to the DSi. it has now been downloading for 6 hours. can anyone tell me how long it will take?

It should only take a few seconds. Just be sure that the host or receiver system isn't actually sitting there waiting for you to select something.

the DSi says "downloading" & the DS says "seeking opponents". it shows the DSi on the bottom screen with a button saying "cut off".

glitches like that happen you have to restart & try again & 6 hours?? how could you wait that long!

i left it & went out.
i shut both of them down & tried again & hey presto it took about 15 seconds.
