is it normal for the screen to go dark (ever so slightly and blur a little) when there is motion on it? such as running or jumping in a game like castlevania portrait of ruin?

an example is: playing Super Mario Bros 2 on it, you know when the screen slides in from the right to the left to tell you which stage you're at and how many left, well, when it is sliding it's blurred but when it stops sliding and is still it is crystal clear..

Maybe you should wait for an answer before you triple post. For an answer, maybe the blur or darkening of the screen is an effect in the game you mentioned since this has never happened to me. If it happens in other games where it seems like it should not, then call Nintendo.
