Email on the Wii

Wish the Wii had a way of telling you when you got email in the message board. Some times it does show there is a message there other then then one that it shows for your playing time. Needs something. ut:

If the Wii is on Standby Mode [Orange Light] the Disc Slot will light up Blue until the Mail is read
And on some games it will go blue while you play it [A slight freeze while it loads the incoming message up and the light etc]
You can configure this in the Options

yeah . i always leave my wii on standby so then when it lights up i know i have new mail 2 read!

Personally, I wouldn't want that, then the "awe", everytime it turned on, would wear off...
