Its got 512 MiB (Mebibytes, slightly larger than MB, or megabytes) internal memory and can support an SD card to expand that memory.

I wouldn't say expand since you can't play things out from the SD card. If you look it at right, the SD card is basically useless on the Wii unless you want to move saves from your Wii to another Wii or something like that. For everything else, it's worthless.

thanks. also is it posible to "mobilize" the internal memory?????? like on a sd card????????? so you can play your file on others wii like all the other systems in the past........thanks in advance.

Yes. There is a flap on the front of the Wii, next to the disc slot. Open the flap and there will be an SD Card slot.
