GC controllers?

i was wondering if u could use the GC controllers with the wii?

I believe there are 4 ports for them on the top of the Wii (under a flap, lift from the right side)

From what I have heard they changed their minds about that and now you have to buy a classic controller to play VC games. Not 100% sure though.

in the marketplace channel, when you view the games for download it shows you what controllers you can use to play the game. im glad to say Mario64 CAN use the GC controller

Either way. When you are in the shopping channel, it shows icons for what controllers you can use for the different games. Usually classic controller and GCN controller are interchangeable.

Yes, it has 4 controller ports and either 1 or 2 memory card slots. I'm positive.
