House of the Dead: Overkill vs Chop till you drop

Has anyone played these two games? I am looking to buy one, but not sure which way to go. Overkill looks good, but i understand there is an issue with the graphics. I am open for suggestions and your review of both games.

One is a Rail Shooter and the other is a third person action/adventure/beat 'em up(correct me if I am wrong). As for the issues with Graphics, it usually refers to frame rate drops.
