if Wii is turned off during update?

Anyone know what the latest system update the other day did? My Wii has been flashing blue for a few days now, but I've been too busy to check.

no update, it was information about the Wii-mote strap, because people were breaking their televisions, and worse, themselves

I had the same problem, it froze like 25% through. I just bought my Wii 2 days ago. I turned it off, by Holding down the Power Button on the console and restarted. I had to re set the clock and stuff, but I dunno if it was saved b4 the reset, since I was setting up Wii for the 1st time.

strange, I never had to reset the time and date

mine took about 5-10min
