I'm a Wii rookie and would like to get info on my using internet with Wii. I'm trying to watch a video on internet and need to download video player such as adobe. Why can't I download? We are using a wireless connection if this helps answer the question.

The Wii browser can't be updated in the same way that most other browsers can.
On the one hand it provides greater security, on the other it's a pain in the behind.
Until Opera / Nintendo offer a total update there is nothing any of us can do about it.

That message was either incorrect or that site was unable to properly determine the Wii browser's Flash version because it does have Flash 7. It's discussed here on Opera's site:
