Not sure if I'll get it at launch, but I'll definitely be gettin' it eventually... only question is how long it'l be 'til the price drops. A long time, I reckon...

Mario Kart is good fun, but it's not a game with legendary narrative, innovative gameplay, etc. etc. IMO it ain't a must-get unless you're a Mario Kart fan... and I can't say I am.
I'd define a must-get Wii U game as bein' somethin' like the next 3D Mario, Zelda, Bayonetta 2 and so on. I feel groupin' a Mario Kart game in with those is a disrespect to said high-profile games.

We could create a MK8 Tournament forum. I raced in a tournament hosted by GameXplain yesterday and it was a lot of fun 
I got first place in my 8 races, so I got featured on the winnerlist for a long time, but since my total points were 90 which is apparently not that much, I got kicked out of the top 20 list right at the end. Still a lot of fun though
They're gonna make it a weekly tournament and Ninbuzz is having a tourament next saturday as well.
Of course, we could also create our own tournaments
