I was wondering if a Sony Ericsson HPM-82 headphones can work on K770I

This is the headphones im talking about:

Ive asked around phone shops and they both say yes and no.
Does anyone know if it works?

In my experience, all headphones work on my cell phones that have an appropriately sized jack, regardless of make or model of either the phone or headphones.
