Looks like totally fake to me, check out the guy above the locked character to the far left, George Bush wearing a baseball cap with horns???? Yeah right.

Interesting. Usually on the character select screens of previous Mortal kombat games, the order of the characters are usually more jumbled up*. For example, in this one, the "bosses" from the previous games are on the bottom row/some above, the two rows above that are the female fighters, and the top row are Ninjas/Ninja cyborgs. I'm not saying either way if it's fake or not, but I wonder what the locked characters may be?...

This is actually fake, as you can see in the Trailer Sub-Zero dosnt have that costume he has the one he uses in Deception
