I used to think so too. I thought it ranked right up there with AIM, it's the most basic crappy version of its type of service, but everyone has it, so I got an account and actually find that it does have some preatty good features. There is definitely better, though.

yeah, and everyone does video now (even photobucket). About the only thing i really like is that you can see when your friends are online.
