How do you hit the gas when the remote is mounted in a steering wheel?

In GT pro series the 1 or 2 button ( i dont remember which) are for the gas.

I just rented Excite Truck. Its the most fun racing game I have ever played IMO. Controls beat NFS easily.

I'm kinda torn also. I don't have either but I really would like a racing kinda game. I watched the reviews on IGN and it seems like Excite Truck would be perfect if not for the horrible Multiplayer. I mean come on Nintendo. Only TWO people can play in MP? In addition there are not many tricks from what I've heard. Only that 360 turn correct? Thats ridiculous. The one good thing Excite Truck has going for it is the way it uses the Wiimote and the beautiful levels and gameplay. MP on NFS looks to be the same except Carbon has a lot more cars and there seems to be alot more storyline/plot involved. Can anyone tell me if I've assessed the situation correctly?
